About Us
Kids' Stuff was opened in 1984 and has served thousands of children from Land O' Lakes and surrounding communities. We are proud of our role in the Lutz/Land O' Lakes community and take pride in being a part of the rich history of the area.
Under the direction of Jackie Genovese (24 years of service), Kids' Stuff provides a nurturing and loving environment that strives to encourage children to question and explore their world. Many of the highly qualified staff working under her direction, have been at Kids' Stuff for 10 years or more. Staff and students know that developmentally appropriate activites create toddlers who are eager for water and sand play. Which in turns, mold them into children who are eager to dig into literature, mathematics, science, the environment and the arts. Kids' Stuff provides a high-quality program that meets the needs of each child as an individual and as a member of his/her classroom family. Kids' Stuff is very proud of the fact that many Kids' Stuff graduates have returned enrolling their own children, volunterring or working with the students.
Kids' Stuff provides Preschool and aftercare for children 18 months to 3 years, V.P.K. for Four-Year-Olds, and Private Kinderarten by a certified teacher.
Before and after care is provided for students attending nearby public schools for K-5 or our private kindergarten. Bus service is provided to and from Connerton, Denham Oaks, Lake Myrtle and Pine View Elem. Afternoon bus service is provided for C.M.C.S. Students who attend Oakstead Elementary receive bus service by the Pasco School District in the morning and the afternoon.
Kids' Stuff provides a full lunch program Monday through Thursday and meals are served family style. Fridays, childcare days and summer sessions are days that parents pack a lunch. Morning and afternoon snack in provided year around.
We will be participating in the VPK Program for the 2012-2013 school year for children that will turn four by 9/1/12.
